7-day Programme
DAY ONE - OPENING CELEBRATION
We are re-introducing the famous Parade of Nations. Late-afternoon teams will depart their hotels for the Parade followed by the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Party which will feature substantial food, exciting entertainment. Includes beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
DAY TWO - MATCH DAY 1
First day of matches. Time to lace up the boots again and get ready to play at the Festival rugby fields at the UBC.
DAY THREE - FUNCTION
Golden Oldies mid-week function. Teams will be transferred to a local venue for 3 hours of entertainment, buffet luncheon, entertainment & beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
DAY FOUR - MATCH DAY 2
Second day of matches at the UBC complex.
DAY FIVE - FREE DAY
A free day to do as you please. Shopping spree, wining and dining, or maybe a day tour in Vancouver - the options are endless!
DAY SIX - MATCH DAY 3
Final day of matches at at the Festival rugby playing fields - hope your body is holding up!
DAY SEVEN - PARTY TIME!
Early evening teams will meet for the Finale Awards Dinner. Includes 4 hour function with three-course silver service meal, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and entertainment.
FAREWELL
Teams depart for home or stay on and explore more of Vancouver or British Columbia - there’s so much to see and do!
Participants who have booked on the Alaska Cruise can look forward to 7 more days of fun.
