Referees Manager, Vancouver 2027

I would like to personally invite you all to come to Vancouver and experience the trip of a lifetime, enjoy the Fun, Friendship and Fraternity of Golden Oldies and soak up everything this vibrant city has to offer.

The Festival being conducted in May 2027 will be a chance to share our passion for the game, renew and make friendships that last a lifetime.

The contribution of referees is an critical part of the Festival as Golden Oldies matches are played under law variations designed to make it safe for all ages to play, i.e. referees are there to make sure laws are followed, so we all enjoy the on-field experience.

Would you like to ref in Vancouver?

Being a referee is a huge amount of fun and if you feel like dusting off your boots and packing a whistle, please get in touch with me.

However, I must stress that you need to be qualified and current in your country and team of origin to be considered to referee at our festival.

The Laws of the game page is correct at this point unless they change any IRB Rules which may impact over the next 18 months but we can address that should they arise.

I look forward to seeing you all here next year at the 25th Golden Oldies World Rugby Festival – and would love to see you as part of the refereeing team.
